My personal artwork (r)evolves around global cultural, scientific & political ~ communications, atmospheres, and pollutions ... and not necessarily in that order. I have also worked for others in the visual arts since 1993. I have a bit of experience in many areas, such as: graphics, illustrations, exhibitions, murals, theatrical painting, display windows, home interiors & photo staging.
In addition to visual communication skills, in later life I discovered I am also quite gifted in the language arts as well. On the CEFR scale, my English is C2, I speak Dutch at B2 and French at A2/B1. In 2020, I earned my degree in teaching English as a Foreign Language at the Hogeschool Utrecht and started teaching at Nimeto (Media Communications studies). My focus as an instructor is Project-Based Learning, where I design all my own curriculum and guide students through the process of learning English themselves. My ambition is to give them the tools they need to continue learning long after their time with me at school is done. I occasionally do some proofreading and editing services on the side as well.
